The Tabi Mule - Powdered Fawn

This season's new colour is 'Powdered Fawn', it's an oxidised neutral, softly white, with a warm tawny background.  It is a gorgeous soft, oxidised, tan.

These Mules were handcrafted in Bali from the softest fawn coloured lambskin and then hand painted on completion to create a beautiful soft tawny neutral Tabi mule.

This new colourway will work well with other naturals, pinks, olives and blues in your wardrobe and it also possesses the wonderful attribute of ‘wearing’ as you wear them. Meaning the top layer of oxidising will rub slightly in high wear areas creating a unique distressed look.
If you are familiar with my crack leather then you know how good the distressed look is and these shoes will go through a similar process.

You’re gonna need some of these for the upcoming party season as the 5 cm heel is just enough elevation without killing you, and these babies are soft and comfy while still giving you some fashion edge!

Inspired by Japanese workers' footwear, the tabi toe softly encapsulates your toes with silky soft lambskin and actually helps your foot to stay nicely seated in place as you walk. In other good news I have added a discreet elastic gusset to ensure they feel nice and snug along the top of your foot without being too tight, thus solving any fit problems.

Hi I’m Karen Booker and I made these extraordinary shoes.

I designed them, drafted a pattern, cut out, sewed and crafted a prototype, tested and then retested the prototypes and then sent a sample to Bali where they were handcrafted. Many hours of R&D have gone into the making of these shoes so that they are just right, so that you feel comfortable, elegant and unique when you slip them on.
